BMR increases the digestibility of the stem and leaves while the lignin content is reduced by 40 to 60%. 4Ever Green BMR will grow to heights of 12 feet with 21 or more leaves that are 4 inches wide and 3 feet long. 4Ever Green BMR will out yeild corn for silage whil producing a crop equal to or higer in food value. It requires 1/3 less water and will produce multiple cuttings. In grazing studies 4Ever Green BMR has shown to be the number one in livestock preference. Stalks were grazed to the ground. Late Maturing Hybrid Sorghum x Sudangrass
This Late Maturing hybrid sorghum sudangrass is the answer to the stockman or dairyman who wants to combine high yields with sweet flavor and juicy stalks. Su2-LM is 25 to 30 days later in flowering than currently grown conventional sorghum x sudangrass hybrids. This allows for production of additional dry matter prior to flowering. Su2-LM has exceptional drought resistance, excellent tillering and regrowth capability. Su2-LM is not photo period sensitive and can be planted at any day length and still take advantage of the added delay in maturity. Su2-LM can be planted in early spring as soon as soil temperature reaches 60 degrees F. or warmer.

This premium Hybrid Forage Sorghum is primarily used for Silage and Green Chop. The "Brown Midrib" characteristic of this plant reduces the lignin content by 40 t0 60% depending on envrionment and cutural condiitions. Millenium has excellent green leaf retension with very sweet and soft stems. Digestibility is increased by reducing the quantity of indigestible lignin in the total plant. This reduction of lignin increases cellulose and hemicellulose content, both being more digestible than lginin. This hybrid has exceptional levels of sugar and non-structural carbohydrates in the stem. Palatability is very high. These sugars provide additional energy and nutrition. Large tannin free grain panicles add to the nutritional content and energy of the silage produced.
